DAY 6 - AUGUSTA TO ST. CHARLES - 27 miles
Another day of river on the right, bluffs on the left for most of the way. I took my time and enjoyed the last miles. I will daydream about the next time I can be there.
The gentleman owner of The Enchanted Owl brought me to the trailhead and took the time to take my picture in the rain. It was 7:45 am.
There are many homes along this stretch of the trail. These homeowners repurposed a couple silos for trail art. Very nice.
One last stop along the river. Not far from the end at St. Charles now.
And here we are at historic St. Charles, where Lewis and Clark began their journey.
