Katy Trail Day 3

Bye bye rainy Sedalia. Headed to St. Charles and the other end of the trail. Hopefully drive out of the rain and get a ride in before meeting up with my Road Scholar group and the real ride begins. 

Arrived in St. Charles midday – plenty time to ride the other way.
Passed the Lewis and Clark historical area on the way out.
One of my favorite statues ever.
The 6 miles I rode toward Machens mostly followed the river but there was this open stretch. This is looking back. I turned around here.
Leaves are changing much more here than on the other end of the trail.
