Boonville to Jefferson City – this is the section of the trail I come for – river on the right, bluffs on the left. I don’t believe I would ever get tired of riding along this section.
We rode out of Boonville – 14 miles to the first SAG stop at Rocheport. After a short rest and refreshments it was back in the saddle for another 9 miles to a trailside lunch at McBaine.
I called SAG wagon after lunch. My miles for the day – 23.
The ride continued on through Hartsburg (3rd SAG stop) and into Jefferson City. Total mileage for the day 51.
